In this game of war and destruction, this sentient jade statue preferred to heal and protect.
The prayers of the people are heard by her two quartz nightangles to whisper back to her so that their wishes for their loved ones to be cured or be safe are noticed. Each time a prayer is heard one of the nightingales breaks a petal off of the quartz flowers that grows on her and gives it to them as a sign of her blessings. Each time a prayer is answered a part of her breaks.
Jade in most cultures is often seen as a healing mineral and a ward for ill wishes, illnesses. It is often gifted when you're wishing someone longevity and luck. It is often believed that if a piece of jade in your possession breaks it is because it saved you from harm.
